Interested in learning the basics of personal finance? Now is your opportunity! Financial Beginnings Washington has partnered with the Asset Building Coalition of Mason County to offer their Financial Foundations class series in Shelton in January 2019.
Classes are free to attend, and will take place on four Tuesdays in January from 12:30-2:30 PM at the Shelton Timberland Regional Library.
Topics include:
January 8th - Banking: Financial institutions are introduced, as well as how they work and how they can be utilized to manage money
January 15th - Budgeting: Steps to create a budget that can be used for an individual’s specific needs are covered
January 22nd - Credit: Concepts surrounding successful credit management are provided
January 29th - Risk management: Overview of insurance policies and how they help manage risk is provided
