Bear and Cougar Coexistence

Description

Join us at the Theler Wetlands to learn from Cole Janowski, a WDFW Wildlife Conflict Specialist, on how to safely navigate encounters with our local large predators: bears and cougars.

You will learn about species biology, conflict prevention, and practical strategies to handle unexpected run-ins on the trail or in your neighborhood. Discover the tools, body language, and habits that keep both you and our wildlife safe. This event is free and all are welcome to attend!
