At 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 13, the Chamber will host a Candidate Forum for those running for City of Shelton Commissioner of Streets and Public Improvement. The forum will provide each candidate the opportunity for a self-introduction, to answer three pre-determined questions, and to ask a question of their opponents.

- Incumbent Tracy Moore has a background supporting historic preservation, working for nonprofit organizations, and serving on volunteer boards.
- Local businessman Eric Onisko has been a Mason County resident for more than 40 years and owns Bayshore Texaco and recently acquired the Hillcrest Shell Station.
- Kevin Dorcy is a lifelong resident of Mason County and is a small business owner who began as a contractor and now owns Urraco Coffee.
- Rounding out the slate of candidates is Jacob Dreifus, a freshman at South Puget Sound Community College and graduate of Kent-Meridian High School.
As a service to Mason County voters, the Chamber of Commerce--together with local partners--hosts forums for the candidates seeking elected office. These events are free and open to the public.
