Pier Peer at Shelton Yacht Club! Explore the estuary; from tiny plankton, to animals living on the docks and deep below. Take a peek at the wonderful world of plankton with microscopes. Underwater lights attract spectacular estuary creatures for you to observe. Volunteer naturalists help you identify and learn more about what you’ve found. Get the chance to see into the depths with an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV).
Registration Policies and Event Info: Preregistration is required due to the limited capacity of the dock.
**Children must wear life jackets during this event and be accompanied by an adult. There must be at least one adult per two children to ensure supervision and safety. This event involves some contact with deep water and is not recommended for children under 6 years old. Bring your own lifejacket if you can, otherwise we have some to borrow.
