Neighborhood Naturalists Youth Workshop: Native Plant Experts

FREE interactive workshop series for kids!

Workshops can be attended individually – registration for full series is not required. Dress your child for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes. Bring any needed gear (raincoat, hat, etc.) for outdoor fun.

Drop off your child a few minutes before the workshop starts and pick them up at 5:30 PM.
Guardians cannot sit in on workshops but are welcome to explore the Salmon Center and Theler Wetlands during class.

Have you ever wondered what the trees, shrubs, and grasses are around you but don’t know where to start? Join us for a free, hands-on workshop to get acquainted with some of Washington’s common native plants and learn how to identify them by their leaves, cones, flowers, berries, and seeds!
