About Us
Incorporated in 1987, Capitol Land Trust has grown from a volunteer organization into a professional land trust, accredited by the Land Trust Alliance for meeting national standards of excellence. We are committed to developing partnerships to conserve our region’s natural areas and working lands.
Our mission is: Furthering collaborative and strategic conservation of southwest Washington's essential natural areas and working lands.
We envision a future for southwest Washington where people, animals, and natural habitats thrive because the community — private citizens, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies — has invested in conservation of our natural places and resources.
