The Hama Hama Company has been growing oysters and clams in Hood Canal since the mid-1950s. Our oysters have earned a reputation for having a clean, briny flavor with a mild cucumber finish. You can find them on the menus at some of the finest restaurants in the country, including Chez Panisse in San Francisco and New York's Grand Central Station's Oyster Bar. Please give us a call if you'd like to sell Hama Hamas or if you need help finding them for sale near your location.
We also have a retail store, which is located just up the beach from our shellfish farm and shucking plant. At our store you can buy our oysters shucked, in the shell, and smoked, in addition to clams, mussels, smoked salmon, fresh fish, and locally-produced cheeses, chocolates, and ice cream. Mail-order available at www.hamahamastore.com.
Family-owned and operated, we sell Christmas trees, timber, grass-fed beef, and gravel, in addition to shellfish, from our location at the mouth of the Hamma Hamma River.
